Research & Articles

The Network for Education and Academic Rights (NEAR) is committed to providing its members with timely email alerts, newsletters and resources to launch country specific campaigns. In this new section, NEAR has provided a range of articles on academic freedom, as well as the text of more formal international declarations and conventions and other regional documents. We hope that these materials not only provide some background to the issues faced in higher education worldwide, but also are useful tools for organisations seeking to pursue further advocacy work.
